T-Shirt 9/85 (Public Office) by Isabel Matias

The design was inspired by military uniform and the idea of ‘earning your stripes’, a term synonymous with proving one’s worth and gaining due recognition. The same-sex law reforms to the Defence and Veterans affairs commemorate those in same-sex couples who have served their country. There’s now no reason that they don’t deserve the recognition and benefits offered to opposite sex couples.
