I can’t stand to see blatant, illogical discrimination. Every person has the right to protected under the law no matter what their sexual orientation – which is no-one else’ business!
People who are in same sex relationships are unable to openly express themselves in the same way that heterosexual couples are except for Mardi Gras or Pride. There is an underlying oppression that has been tacitly agreed to by a wider community which has been until this point never spoken about openly. It’s time for truth.
I hope it will start to break down the stereotypes, the discrimination which can only come through ignorance. While changing attitudes will happen slowly having the legislation is a start in the right direction.
To break down discrimination. To show that we can be an inclusive society.

No matter what gender, laws now recognise your family, so you can love them with your whole heart.
